Candidates for the ZIFA elections set for the 25th of next month are expected to be announced today.
Several candidates have expressed interest to be the association’s president, including Yadah FC owner, Prophet Walter Magaya, businessman Nqobile Magwizi, Northern region chairperson Martin Kweza and Team Zimbabwe UK CEO Marshal Gore.
PSL chairperson Farai Jere, the man he replaced, Twine Phiri, former ZIFA board member Philemon Machana and former Warriors captain Benjani Mwaruwari are also in the running.
Renowned legal practitioner Muchadeyi Masunda has been leading the vetting process that has been taking place in the last two weeks.
