DYNAMOS captain Emmanuel Jalai has ended his six-year association with the Harare giants after completing a move to South Africa’s Betway Premiership side, Durban City.
The 27-year-old right-back, who was a finalist for the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Star of the Year award, confirmed his departure through a social media post in which he expressed gratitude and affection for the club.
Jalai, a Zimbabwe Warriors international, leaves Dynamos as one of the club’s most consistent performers in recent seasons, having risen to the captaincy through dedication and leadership.
He had attracted interest from several clubs in the region, including PSL champions Scottland, AmaZulu and Chippa United, but ultimately chose Durban City as the next step in his career.
Dynamos are yet to announce a replacement for their departing skipper as preparations for the new season continue.
