ZIMBABWE’S pavilion is making impressions at the ongoing Osaka 2025 Expo in Japan, courting the interest of hundreds of visitors daily who are attracted to the country’s tourism and cultural products.

Tourism and cultural products are emerging as the biggest draw cards to the country’s pavilion.

Fahd Moumni, a Morrocan national, is one among many visitors who will carry a positive sentiment on Brand Zimbabwe across the globe.

“I had only heard about Victoria Falls, but after the virtual reality experience at the pavilion, I am now determined to visit Zimbabwe. The hospitality I have received here in Osaka reflects the spirit of the country. I feel inspired to share Zimbabwe’s story and promote it as a must-visit destination.”

Fahd’s sentiments are a reflection of thousands of other voices of visitors who have flocked to the country’s pavilion since the Expo opened in March this year.

Zimbabwean officials at the Expo say they will leverage on this interest to seal tangible business deals.

“We are impressed with the numbers that have been coming to our pavilion. I think of note is how the visitors are impressed with one of our tourism product, the Victoria Falls. We have also seen that several visitors are impressed by our cultural products. Going forward, we look at the interest generated here to sell trade and investment opportunities available in Zimbabwe,” Zimbabwe Head Secretariat, Mr Danai Majaha said.

Zimbabwe is positioning itself on the global map at the Osaka Expo 2025 and is utilising the platform to create networking opportunities that will unlock future investment deals for the country.
