THE ZANU-PF Manicaland Youth League has expressed strong support for Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 and urged young people to remain united in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty.
Addressing hundreds of party youths gathered from districts across Manicaland, provincial youth league leaders said empowerment programmes introduced under the Second Republic are improving livelihoods.
These initiatives include mining equipment schemes, agricultural support programmes, and the Presidential Youth Empowerment Revolving Fund.
“We fully support the Constitutional Amendment No. 3 Bill because it safeguards our future. It is our duty as young people to stand behind President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership and remain united as we work toward achieving Vision 2030,” ZANU PF Manicaland Provincial Youth League Chairperson Cde Stanley Sakupwanya said.
The ruling party’s provincial leadership weighed in, saying unity remains the ultimate shield and vanguard of the ruling party’s revolutionary ideals.
“As youths continue to be united. Do not allow anyone to divide you so that you can continue to defend the country’s sovereignty that we, your parents, fought for during the liberation struggle,” ZANU PF Manicaland Provincial Women’s League Chairperson Cde Dorothy Mabika said.
“We are working tirelessly to ensure that every young person in Manicaland benefits from both government initiatives and private sector partnerships. By bringing together state resources and private players, we are creating sustainable opportunities in agriculture, mining, and entrepreneurship that will empower our youth,” Manicaland Minister of State for Provincial Affairs Advocate Misheck Mugadza said.
ZANU-PF National Deputy Secretary for Youth Affairs, Comrade John Paradza, commended Manicaland youths for backing the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3, challenging them to continue supporting President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 agenda.
“We want to thank you for your unwavering support for the Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 , which will ensure that the developments being spearheaded by the Second Republic are completed. We also want to ensure that all youths benefit from all programmes that are being rolled out to empower youths,” he said.
The ruling party’s national youth leadership also used the platform to unpack a circular detailing the operationalisation of President Mnangagwa’s youth empowerment programme.
