MISS Universe Zimbabwe, Sakhile Dube is attracting international attention ahead of the Miss Universe global contest set for November this year.
This comes after pageantry enthusiasts placed her among the promising beauties at this year’s contest.
The future looks bright for the 27-year-old beauty queen, who is set to represent Zimbabwe in Mexico.
Dube tops the lists of contestants receiving positive reviews from pageantry enthusiasts.
With close to two months before the pageant, Dube is topping prediction charts also known as ‘hot picks,’ with high anticipation that Zimbabwe will make it to the top this year.
The beauty queen who was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe in May, is laying the groundwork hoping to bring the coveted crown home.
“I am really excited about how the preparations for Miss Universe are going. We have been working diligently with the Miss Universe Zimbabwe organization for the past few months and it has been quite a journey.
“I have been focusing on fitness and I have been hitting the gym regularly to stay in shape alongside with a coach to polish my stage presence and interview skills. This process has definitely challenged me, especially in managing my time with rehearsals and other commitments but it has also been incredibly rewarding.
“ I am passionately advocating for empowerment of vulnerable children and I have had the chance to engage with local organizations which has also diverted. It has also deepened my connection to the community. So I am really looking forward to going to Mexico and showcasing the beauty of Zimbabwe on an international level,” she said.
More than 80 beauties have registered to participate at this year’s global event.
