THE SADC Council of Ministers Ordinary Session has ended at the New Parliament Building Building in Mt Hampden.
Delivering his closing remarks, Chairperson of the Council Professor Amon Murwira noted the region’s progress in implementing the Regional Strategic Indicative Development Plan 2020-2030, which aims to promote regional growth and integration.
He called on member states to remain committed to the cause of SADC in pushing for sustainable socio-political and economic growth.
The chairperson rallied SADC member states to play their part in ensuring that the region is self-sufficient in all facets of the economy.
