THE ZANU PF Women’s League has commended the Second Republic for implementing development programmes that are transforming communities and improving the lives of women across the country.
The remarks were made during the ZANU PF Women’s League National Assembly at the party headquarters in Harare, where members engaged with the party’s President and First Secretary, Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa.
ZANU PF Secretary for Women’s Affairs Cde Mabel Chinomona applauded the government’s people-centred development agenda, saying it has delivered tangible benefits to communities nationwide.
ZANU PF Women’s League Secretary for Administration Cde Monica Mutsvangwa said the Second Republic had made significant progress in strengthening the economy, with the positive impact being felt across the country.
The Women’s League also welcomed Zimbabwe’s election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and hailed the enactment of the Constitutional Amendment Act No. 3, describing them as among the key milestones achieved under the Second Republic.
