Battlelines have been drawn in the National Association of Primary Heads (NAPH) ball games national finals set for Bulawayo on Thursday.

While it will be a contest for bragging rights, NAPH is using this year’s meet as a platform to select the best team to represent the country in the upcoming COSSASA games set for Bulawayo in August.

The host province has done all the ground work to stage the double header.

“It has been a busy month for us trying to put preparations for the two tournaments. As NAPH, we are ready for our finals which will give us athletes to represent us in the COSSASA games. We have identified accommodation for our visiting teams and facilities for the games,” said NAPH Bulawayo chairperson, Dumisani Mathwasa.

The United College of Education will be the main venue alongside Heartsfields Rugby Ground.

Teams are expected to arrive this Wednesday for vetting.
