Lady Chevrons eye glory in Namibia Tri-Series

The Zimbabwe women’s national cricket team, the Lady Chevrons, return to the international stage when they participate in the Capricorn Eagles Tri-Series which gets underway in Namibia this Friday.

The lady Chevrons are back in action after participating at the Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers in the United Arab Emirates in May.

The technical department has announced a youthful 15-member squad, eager to make a mark on the international stage.

The Lady Chevrons will begin their campaign with a date against the UAE this Saturday, before taking on hosts Namibia on Sunday.

The team will then face the UAE again on the 10th of September and Namibia on the 11th.

The final round of matches will be held on the 13th and 14th of September, with Zimbabwe facing the UAE first.

All matches will be played at the Wanderers Cricket Ground in Windhoek, with the tournament concluding on the 14th of September.
