Unpredictable Herentals are determined to find their winning formula when they face ZPC Kariba at Rufaro Stadium in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match this Saturday.
Known for being giant killers, Herentals have struggled to find consistency this season.
After 21 games, they sit in the top eight with 27 points, having managed six wins, nine draws, and six losses.
The Students enter Matchday 22 smarting from a disappointing 3-1 defeat to league leaders, FC Platinum, which came after another loss to Arenel Movers.
Desperate to turn their fortunes around, Herentals are aiming to find their winning formula to maintain a safe position in the premiership.
“We aim at finishing in a better position as we had finished eighth last season and there is no excuse to do that so we are going to work very hard in the remaining matches to be able to win or draw so that we achieve what we want,” said Herentals coach, Paul Benza.
Their opponents, ZPC Kariba, are two places behind them in the standings, with 25 points from four wins, 13 draws, and four losses.
