THE Embassy of Pakistan in Zimbabwe convened a diplomatic briefing in Harare regarding what it described as an unprovoked attack by India earlier this month, which later led to a ceasefire agreement between the two countries.
Ambassadors, high commissioners, and diplomatic representatives based in Harare attended the session which was hosted by Pakistan’s top envoy to Zimbabwe, Ambassador Murad Baseer.
The purpose of the briefing was to present Pakistan’s official perspective on the recent border incident and to reaffirm its commitment to peace and regional stability.
Ambassador Baseer provided a detailed chronology of the events surrounding the confrontation, stressing that Pakistan remains a proponent of peaceful coexistence and dialogue within South Asia.
