ZIMBABWE’S pavilion at the on-going Expo 2025 Osaka continues to receive more visitors with the country hoping to leverage participation on increased tourism and investment in the country.

Since the expo began in April, the Zimbabwe Pavilion has received more than 100 000 visitors.

Expectations are high that the expo will bring in more tourism and investment opportunities into the country.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Mr Nick Mangwana toured the Pavilion this Saturday.

The Pavilion is presenting the country as vibrant, innovative, and investment-ready, with the aim of increasing tourist arrivals, trade and investment deals by 15% and 10% annually in that order.

“This exhibition has shown that Zimbabwe is now a good news story or a positive international story. There is no better way of showing Zimbabwe than this dynamic exhibition. I have visited dozens of stands, particularly countries in sub-Saharan Africa and also judging from the public interests, we will come from here with dividends in tourism. Our theme is beyond limits and we have indeed shown that our country can go beyond limits and penetrate the international markets,” Mr Nick Mangwana said.

The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, Honourable Kassim Majaliwa Majaliwa became the latest high-level delegate to tour the Zimbabwe Pavilion this Sunday, after partaking in Tanzania’s National Day at the on-going expo.

Zimbabwe is taking part in the 6 month long world expo showcasing what it has to offer in tourism, trade and investment sectors.
