The ZANU PF party has thanked the electorate for peacefully conducting themselves during the 2023 general elections.
Addressing a media briefing at the party headquarters in Harare Thursday evening, the party’s Secretary for Finance, Cde Patrick Chinamasa, who was standing in for the ZANU PF Secretary General, Dr Obert Mpofu, said based on results that are coming through so far, they are on target to win the elections.
Cde Chinamasa said the public should ignore claims by CCC Presidential candidate, Nelson Chamisa that he won the elections.
Responding to questions from the media that the ruling party has been working in cahoots with the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission, Cde Chinamasa said such claims were unfounded.
