PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has concluded his four-day official visit to Belarus, a diplomatic engagement that saw Zimbabwe and Belarus cement bilateral relations through the signing of several agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation across multiple economic sectors.
During the visit, President Mnangagwa held high-level discussions with his Belarusian counterpart, President Alexander Lukashenko, focusing on strengthening strategic partnerships for mutual benefit.
The two leaders underscored their shared commitment to expanding intergovernmental cooperation, particularly in areas such as industrial development, infrastructure, and healthcare.
One of the major highlights of the visit was the agreement to bolster Zimbabwe’s health sector, with several local institutions including the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals expected to benefit from Belarusian technical and material support.
President Mnangagwa was officially seen off at the airport by President Lukashenko, marking the conclusion of a visit that both leaders hailed as a milestone in Zimbabwe-Belarus relations.
