DEFENDING Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions and log leaders Simba Bhora will invade Mandava Stadium to face FC Platinum this afternoon in the headline fixture of Saturday’s PSL Matchday 18 encounters.
FC Platinum who have gone for 16 games unbeaten so far in this campaign, will face their toughest hurdle against the log leaders, Simba Mbira who have been in sublime form picking up maximum points in their last three encounters.
The four-time champions will however be hoping to utilise their home advantage and the form of impressive forward, Thando Ngwenya in his last match for the club to preserve their unbeaten streak to 17 matches.
Elsewhere, third-placed TelOne welcome Herentals to Ascot Stadium in Gweru and Dynamos make the long trip to Nyamhunga to face ZPC Kariba.
Bottom of the log Kwekwe United face a stern test against 2023 champions, Ngezi Platinum Stars as they tour the Baobab Stadium, Yadah host Manica Diamonds at The Heart Stadium, while Bikita Minerals welcome Chicken Inn to Gibbo Stadium to round up the day’s fixtures.
