SOME regional leaders have left Harare after attending the 44th SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government on Saturday.
The President of Malawi, Dr Lazarus Chakwera left Harare for the Vatican for bilateral discussions, with Namibian President, His Excellency Dr Nangolo Mbumba going back home.
Lesotho’s Prime Minister, Right Honourable Samuel Matekane left Harare just after mid-day and was seen off at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Honourable Barbra Rwodzi.
The outgoing SADC Chairperson and Angolan President, His Excellency Joao Manuel Lourenco departed Harare just before 1500hrs and was seen off at the airport by the Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Senator Monica Mutsvangwa.
The last to depart this Sunday was the President of Madagascar, His Excellency Andry Rajeolina, who was seen off the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by the Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities, Honourable Zhemu Soda.
