THE Chevrons are determined to bounce back and clinch the T20 International series when they face Bangladesh in the decisive third match at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Sunday.
The winner-takes-all encounter follows Zimbabwe’s defeat in the second T20I, which allowed Bangladesh to level the three-match series.
After their bowling attack came under pressure in the previous match, Zimbabwe Bowling Coach Quinton Friend said the team has reviewed its performance and is focused on delivering a stronger display.
“We analysed our game, and we know the fans are yearning to see us return to our winning momentum. We have spoken strongly about how we can turn things around. We are confident we will end it on a high note and at least give the fans something to take home after the last instalment,” he said.
Victory would secure the series for Zimbabwe and provide a timely confidence boost ahead of the home T20 series against India later this month.
