BEITBRIDGE’ Pacesetters Tennis Academy is gearing up for the National Junior Tennis Tournament, set for Mutare in mid-December 2025.

Players from the academy are confident and ready to compete.

“As a team, we are ready for the December tournament, but we will keep training,” a player said.

Schools and parents have shown increased support for the sport, helping nurture young talent and grow the game at grassroot levels.

“Right now, we are preparing for the Manicaland Open in Mutare this December. We are training players from different schools who form the Pacesetters Academy. Many schools now have the infrastructure to promote tennis, which shows there is real potential ahead,” Pacesetters Tennis Development Programme Coach, Pauline Phiri said

The Academy trains both juniors and seniors from across Beitbridge Town, promoting tennis from the grassroots and building a new generation of players ready to shine on the national stage.
