ZiMBABWEAN swimmer Anje Van As continued her stellar form at the 2026 Africa Aquatics Championships after adding two more medals; a silver and a bronze to the gold she won on day one.
Van As also broke the national record in the 50-metre butterfly, underlining her dominance in the pool.
Fellow Zimbabwean swimmer Paige Van Der Westhuizen competed in the 50-metre butterfly but finished outside the medal positions.
Zimbabwe now has five medals, one gold, three silver and one bronze heading into day three of the continental championships.
Most of the athletes will be back in the pool this Thursday as Zimbabwe eyes a strong performance at the African showpiece.
