Miss Universe Zimbabwe champions tourism in Victoria Falls

REIGNING Miss Universe Zimbabwe Roseanna Hall has taken her campaign to promote the country’s tourism potential to Victoria Falls, one of the world’s leading travel destinations, as the country positions itself as a premier tourism hub.

During her visit, the beauty queen is expected to explore some of the resort city’s iconic attractions while engaging with local tourism stakeholders and visitors.

Pageant organisers confirmed that Hall’s itinerary is strategically designed to leverage her upcoming participation at the 75th global Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico to project the country’s premier resort town to an international audience.

The visit comes at a time when international recognition of Zimbabwe’s tourism appeal is growing after global business magazine Forbes listing Zimbabwe among the destinations worth experiencing.

Tourism player, Dr Matifadza Martha Nyazema, said such endorsements, combined with high-profile ambassadors like Miss Universe Zimbabwe, help strengthen the country’s visibility on international markets and inspire more travellers to consider Zimbabwe for leisure, adventure and cultural experiences.

As destination marketing becomes increasingly competitive, collaborations between tourism authorities, local operators and influential personalities are projected to play a significant role in showcasing the country’s unique attractions.
