Preparations for the All-Africa Golf Championships are gathering pace with Bulawayo Golf club getting a face-lift.
With the clock ticking towards the All-Africa Golf championships set for Bulawayo from the 27th of October to the 2nd of November, Zimbabwe is pulling all stops to stage a memorable tournament.
Bulawayo Golf club has also received a face-lift.
Zimbabwe Golf Association president, Martin Chikwanha said, “We are counting down and its only three weeks left before we host the mega event. Preparations are going quite well and they are different facets of the preparations. Bulawayo Golf Club are pulling all effort to ensure that the club is in a state to host all these visitors. The city fathers through their engineering department have assisted to solve the issue of burst pipes.”
More than 20 countries have confirmed participation at the tournament which also serves as a marketing tool for Zimbabwe under the sports tourism initiative.
