THE Castle Lager Premier Soccer League relegation battle has taken an electrifying turn, with the bottom four teams experiencing varying fortunes.
Green Fuel’s thrilling 2-1 victory over Chicken Inn has seen them surge two places up the table, boasting 31 points and temporarily leaving the relegation zone.
However, Dynamos, currently second from the bottom, still have a chance to alter their fate when they face off against CAPS United at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday.
A loss for Dynamos could plunge them deeper into the relegation zone, making survival an arduous task.
Meanwhile, Yadah’s 2-1 defeat to TelOne has dropped them to third from the bottom with 29 points.
On the other hand, Bikita Minerals have climbed two places to 12th position with 33 points after securing a 1-1 draw against FC Platinum.
In another match, Ngezi Platinum and Herentals shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
