TODAY marks the birthday of the late Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti, a revered Zimbabwean Pentecostal leader and founder of the Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA), also known internationally as Forward In Faith Ministries International (FIFMI).
Archbishop Guti established ZAOGA/FIFMI on 12 May 1960 in Bindura, Zimbabwe. The ministry, built on a vision of holiness, faith, and financial integrity, has since expanded to over 140 nations and states across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand, maintaining its principle of being a debt-free organisation.
A firm believer in education and empowerment, Archbishop Guti founded the Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) on 15 May 2012. The Christian university promotes entrepreneurial skills and prepares students to become global leaders.
Archbishop Guti’s legacy continues to shape lives through his teachings, institutions, and a ministry.
