THE Zimbabwe senior men’s cricket side, the Chevrons face Pakistan in the 3rd and final T20 encounter at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo this Thursday.

After losing two T20 matches owing to poor batting, the Chevrons return to Queens Sports Club in a dead rubber match of the T20 series after the visitors put to bed the contest with a 2-nil lead.

Fresh on their minds the Chevrons would need to deal with their wicket losses and disintegrating innings, which saw them drop innings like a deck of cards.

Ahead of the last T20 match, Captain Sikandar Raza believes fans should throng the venue and push the boys for a better finish.

He said, “We are aware our fans got disappointed, but my plea as a captain is for the fans to keep believing in us. We can’t crucify the boys that would lead to a change of having many debuts like we once did with one coach, although I won’t mention the name.”

The Chevrons have struggled against Pakistan, only managing one win in the first One Day International before a free fall in two ODIs and two T20 matches.

The Chevrons will now shift their attention to the Afghanistan tour set for the end of this month.
