NAMIBIAN attacker Sadney Urikhob earned Dynamos interim coach Lloyd Chigowe his point after his second half equaliser saw the Harare giants share the spoils with Simba Bhora after a one-all stalemate at Barbourfields Stadium this Saturday.
Thrust in the deep end after the sudden departure of Genesis Mangombe, Chigowe managed to secure a draw against Simba Bhora who were on top of the log before the start of the match.
Simba Bhora had taken the lead early on and thought that the goal was enough to vicegrip top spot.
However, the Dynamos import, Urikhob, unscrewed the Shamva-based side with a beautiful goal to level matters.
Tonderayi Ndiraya’s charges failed to find the winner in the closing stages as Lloyd ‘Mablanyo’ Chigowe got away with a point in their first game in charge this season.
While Simba stuttered to a one-all draw, FC Platinum took advantage of the slip, coming from behind to beat Philani Ncube’s Arenel 3-1 to reclaim pole position.
In ankther encounter, Harare giants CAPS United finally got a second consecutive victory this season after substitute Ralph Kawondera earned Lloyd Chitembwe the maximum points away to ZPC Kariba.
Elsewhere, Yadah succumbed to a heavy 3-1 loss to TelOne at the Heart Stadium, while Green Fuel and Chicken Inn played out to a goalless affair.
Action continues this Sunday as Hwange and Chegutu Pirates square off at the Colliery, Highlanders welcome defending champions Ngezi Platinum to Barbourfields, while Manica Diamonds date Herentals at Sakubva Stadium.
