ZIM-dancehall artist Kudakwashe Gift Hombarume, popularly known as Chillmaster, has been banned from driving for nine months after the High Court ordered a review of his initial sentence.
In the initial ruling, Mbare Magistrate Tatenda Mukurunge fined Chillmaster, US$200 for driving without a license and sentenced him to 210 hours of community service for the culpable homicide charges.
The ruling raised debate prompting the High Court to intervene.
Judge President Justice Mary Zimba-Dube, who handled the High Court matter gave a directive to Mukurunge to review the sentence, which she noted was not in the interest of justice.
