THE University of Zimbabwe is alive this Friday as 6778 graduands prepare to be capped by the Chancellor; President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
5319 are being capped in undergraduate programmes; 1432- postgraduate, 16 in Doctor of Philosophy while 11 will be capped with Masters in Philosophy.
52% of the graduands are male with females accounting for 48%.
Among those to be capped is the ZBC Board member Dr Henry Mukono with a Bachelor of Substantive Laws Degree, and he has expressed joy at finishing his journey and looks forward to applying it in his line of work.
ZBC News and Current Affairs Executive Producer Constance Mushayamano graduates with a First Class degree and a book prize in Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Multi-lingual Communication, Translation and Interpretation.
Others graduating include Raynald Ngwarati and Denmark Samuriwo in the News and Current Affairs section.
