THE Zimbabwe senior men’s football team, the Warriors, are in transit to Nigeria’s Uyo State for their away World Cup qualifying tie where they lock horns with the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday.
The Warriors, who left Durban via OR Tambo International Airport, arrived in Lagos shortly after 8 pm on Friday and had an overnight lay-over in Lagos.
Hunting for their first win in the campaign, the Warriors are expected to touch base in Uyo this afternoon.
The two sides played to a stalemate in the reverse fixture and are both desperate to keep pace with the chasing pack in the World Cup qualifiers.
