MOURNERS have gathered at President Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa’s homestead in Bikita for the burial of his niece, Shamiso Mnangagwa, as the Head of State and his family receive an outpouring of support from across the political and community spectrum.
The burial ceremony, scheduled for this morning, has drawn senior Government and ZANU PF officials, alongside hundreds of community members from Bikita who have come to pay their last respects.
Among those in attendance are ZANU PF National Chairman Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Politburo members Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa and Cde Lovemore Matuke, as well as Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Cde Ezra Chadzamira, together with other senior officials.
The gathering reflects both national solidarity and local community support as the First Family mourns its loss.
Meanwhile, the ZANU PF party has extended condolences to President Mnangagwa and the First Family, expressing sympathy during this period of bereavement.
