SIX people were killed on Thursday morning following a head-on collision between a private vehicle and a truck along the Harare–Masvingo highway.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), the accident involved a Toyota Corolla and a truck, which collided head-on, killing all six occupants in the smaller vehicle at the scene.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred this morning at the 246 kilometre peg along Harare-Masvingo Road. Six people were killed when a Toyota Corolla vehicle was involved in a head on collision with a truck,” ZRP national spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said in an update.
