THE 7 Arts Theatre in Harare was transformed into a vibrant centre of worship and thanksgiving on Friday evening as gospel enthusiasts gathered for Janet Manyowa’s Worship Moments concert, an event defined by powerful praise, heartfelt testimonies and an atmosphere of spiritual upliftment.

The concert brought together leading gospel ministers for a collaborative showcase of worship, reinforcing themes of hope, faith and unity through music that resonated deeply with the audience from start to finish.

A defining feature of the evening was a series of praise and worship performances that sustained a strong spiritual connection with the audience, as artists delivered renditions that underscored worship as both expression and lifestyle.

The event also featured collaborations with some of Zimbabwe’s most respected worship and praise ministers, adding depth and variety to the programme.

Worship leader Janet Manyowa set the tone for the evening, emphasising the power of unity in worship.

“I was so uplifted myself, and I think that it rubbed off on to the rest of the team. The people came expectant and wanted to worship. As the name says, it was all about worship moments today, and I think we managed to touch the heart of God like we wanted to.

“The Bible says two are better than one, so most of the time we do things by ourselves, but there is more power when we collaborate. So I was happy with my collaboration with Mathias Mhere and with Joyful Praise Choir, and having them today was icing on the cake,” she said.

As the final chorus filled the theatre and the lights dimmed, the evening closed on a strong note of faith, gratitude and collective worship, leaving attendees uplifted and inspired.
