Sao Tome and Principe Prime Minister visits Vic Falls

THE Prime Minister of Sao Tome and Principe, His Excellency Patrice Trovoada has pledged to be an ambassador of Zimbabwe after visiting the Victoria Falls this Friday.

The leader of the Central African state of Sao Tome and Principe, His Excellency Patrice Trovoada could not help but marvel at the majestic world wonder, the Victoria Falls, which he visited this Friday as part of his private retreat with his family.

After spending time in the presence of Zimbabwe’s Tourism and Hospitality Industry Minister, Honourable Barbara Rwodzi and her staff from the ministry who conveyed President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s greetings to the visitors, the Prime Minister left with a vow to be an ambassador for Zimbabwe’s tourism.

“I saw the Victoria Falls and it is a natural asset to the world. From here, I am going to be an ambassador of Victoria Falls and Zimbabwe,” said H.E. Patrice Trovoada.

Zimbabwe is excited to be receiving high-profile visitors time and again.

Honourable Barbara Rwodzi said, “We are so happy to have hosted the Sao Tome and Principe Prime Minister. It still goes on to affirm how important Zimbabwe is to the world and that our tourism is world-class. After their promise to come back again, this pleases us and is still a big boost for our local tourism destinations.”

At different intervals, the local tourism sector hosts different personalities from across the globe, with their visits coming as an important global endorsement of Zimbabwe as a tourism destination of choice.
