THE Confederation of Southern Africa Netball Associations (COSANA) Club Championships begin this Thursday at Sunrise Sports Club in Harare following the completion of coaches’ and umpires’ assessment programmes.
The two-day assessments prepared match officials ahead of the regional tournament, which runs until Monday.
Hosts Zimbabwe will open their campaign with an all-local Group A clash between Chapungu and Harare City, while Zambia’s Green Eagles face compatriots Green Buffaloes.
In Group B, Lesotho Correctional Service take on Namibia Correctional Service, Zambia’s NAPSA meet Makate Highflyers, while Lesotho Police Training College face Kitwe Rifles.
The championships will be played in a round-robin format, with clubs from Zimbabwe, Eswatini, Lesotho, Zambia and Namibia competing for regional honours.
