Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries leader, Walter Magaya, has been granted US$3,000 bail by the High Court, following his recent arrest on allegations of fraud and rape.
The ruling was delivered virtually by Justice Gibson Mandaza, who ordered Magaya to surrender his passport and title deeds as part of the bail conditions.
He was also ordered to report twice every week to the police.
Magaya was arrested on five counts of rape and fraud. He is jointly charged with his wife, Tendai, on fraud allegations and had initially been remanded in custody until Wednesday. The PHD leader appeared before Harare Regional Magistrate Mrs Marehwanazvo Gofa last week.
