ZANU PF Mashonaland East Provincial Chairperson, Cde Daniel Garwe, says the province is elated that one of its main resolutions from the just-ended National People’s Conference, Resolution Number One, was adopted.
Addressing party members during a victory celebration in Ward 3, Murewa North Constituency, Cde Garwe said the province is proud that its resolution sailed through at the conference held in Mutare last month and now looks forward to its implementation.
“We are very excited as a province that the resolution number, which allows President Emmerson Mnangagwa to go beyond 2030, sailed through, and we now wait for its implementation,” he said.
Cde Garwe, who is also Murewa North legislator, called for unity among party cadres, warning them against abuse of social media.
“Now that the resolution has been adopted, let us rally behind our President and be united as a party and avoid abusing social media,” he said.
ZANU PF Central Committee members from the province also took the opportunity to parade their vehicles, which were given to them by the party’s First Secretary and President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa.
