THE Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released the results for the November/December 2025 national examination session, with a national pass rate of 70 percent recorded.
In a statement, the Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor Fanuel Tagwira, confirmed the results are now ready for collection across the country.
Professor Tagwira expressed appreciation to all stakeholders involved in the administration of the examinations, crediting their collective efforts for the successful conduct of the national assessment process.
He said the coordinated contribution of examination officials, institutions and partners played a key role in achieving the overall pass rate, which reflects continued progress in technical and vocational education.
“The Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Professor Tagwira hereby announces release of the Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) National Examinations for the November/December 2025 examination session. He wishes to thank all stakeholders involved in the national examinations process. Their contribution towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 70 % pass rate,” he said.
Candidates who sat for the November/December 2025 HEXCO examinations have been advised to access their results from their respective regional centres starting Wednesday, 21 January 2026.
HEXCO conducts national examinations for technical, vocational and industrial training programmes, which form a critical pillar of Zimbabwe’s skills development and workforce readiness agenda.
