HARARE’s weekend entertainment scene kicked off in style, featuring a lavish film awards ceremony, vibrant anniversary celebrations, and a surprise club appearance by a top amapiano DJ, highlighting the city’s dynamic nightlife and creative talent.
Local film production outfit, Dream House Productions, hosted its Academy Awards night for 2025 graduates at Ster Kinekor, Joina City.
The event celebrated emerging cinematic talent and offered a glamorous platform for Zimbabwe’s new generation of filmmakers.
Meanwhile, first-anniversary celebrations at the Skyline River Resort featured a strong lineup of local acts. The crowd was entertained by J.Boss is Satisfaction and the Trinity Band, with Silent Killer, getting the crowd going.
Adding to the night’s buzz, amapiano hitmaker DJ Maphorisa made a surprise visit to Pabloz Nightclub, spending time with local fans and energising the venue.
