FEMALE Female artists will gather in Zambia at the African Women in Music Conference, a platform dedicated to advocating for the rights of African women in the music industry, with over 50 participants from more than 15 countries.
Musician Florence Nyamazana, who will represent Zimbabwe, says she intends to use the opportunity to highlight the struggles faced by female artists.
“I am honored to be part of this conference which starts on March 25 to March 26. I am sure we will learn a lot and be able to discuss some of the issues affecting us as female musicians. I am happy to be part of such a platform which advocates for the rights of women in the music industry,” Nyamazama said.
