ZIMBABWEAN musicians are making it big on the international stage after five local musicians were nominated for the 10th edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) set for the 17th of next month in the United States of America.
Talented music diva Tamy Moyo is set to battle it out with South African-based Amapiano star Sha Sha after they were nominated in the Best Female Southern African category.
This is not the first time the two have been nominated for the same awards.
Winky D is also representing the country in the Best Male Southern Africa award where he will lock horns with South Africa’s Dj Maphorisa, the late AKA, Costa Titch and Musa Keys.
Another Zimbabwean, Video Director Jake Zaral is representing the country in the Best Video Director category while Lex and Answer are under the Best African DJ USA.
Ammara Brown is one of the few Zimbabweans who have managed to bring the gong home.
