The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League returns this weekend as former champions FC Platinum play against Manica Diamonds in a match day 26 encounter at Mandava Stadium this Saturday.
FC Platinum, currently second with 46 points, four points behind log leaders Simba Bhora, will be looking to complete a double win over Manica Diamonds, having won the reverse fixture 2-1.
Manica Diamonds, now fourth with 39 points, will be seeking to close the seven-point gap between them and FC Platinum.
In their previous five league outings, FC Platinum have won three times and drawn twice, demonstrating their strong form.
Meanwhile, Manica Diamonds have been on the rise recently, moving up to fourth position.
This Saturday’s fixtures also feature Arenel Movers hosting Green Fuel at Luveve Stadium and Herentals welcoming Hwange at Rufaro Stadium.
