DYNAMOS fought back from a goal down to salvage a one-all draw against FC Platinum in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League clash at Rufaro Stadium this Sunday.

The visitors struck first before halftime when Eric Makonore’s cross found Garikai Dematsika, who slotted home to leave DeMbare trailing at the break.

The Glamour Boys returned with fire, pinning FC Platinum back, and finally got their breakthrough when the visitors’ goalkeeper Manfred Ekoi brought down Perfect Chikwende in the box.

Abel Gwatidzo stepped up and coolly converted the penalty to level the score.

The result saw Dynamos drop to third on 15 points, while Hardrock leapfrogged them into second position with 16 points, level with log leaders CAPS United.

FC Platinum are seventh with 10 points.

Elsewhere, Bulawayo giants Highlanders winless streak continued after a nil-all stalemate with ZPC Kariba at Barbourfields, while Herentals handed Manica Diamonds a two-one defeat at the Green Fuel Arena.

Match Day Seven concludes this Monday with MWOS hosting Simba Bhora at Ngoni Stadium.
