ZIMBABWE Under-17 Women’s National Team begin their quest for a place at the 2026 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup with a first-round qualifier against Uganda Under-17 Women’s National Team this Sunday.
The first leg of the tie will be played at Ngoni Stadium, with the return leg scheduled between 17 and 19 April.
The winner over two legs will progress to the second round, where they will face either Namibia Under-17 Women’s National Team or Kenya Under-17 Women’s National Team next month.
A total of 31 African teams are competing in the qualifiers, which are being played over three knockout rounds featuring home-and-away fixtures.
Winners of the final round will secure one of four African slots at the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup finals set for Morocco.
