TEAM Zimbabwe delivered a strong performance at the Maseru International Meet on Saturday, securing victory in the men’s 4x400m relay with a time of 03:03.55s.
The quartet of Gerren Muwishi, Thandazani Ndlovu, Dennis Hove, and Leeford Zuze delivered a commanding performance against strong regional competition.
Attention now shifts to the Lefika International Relays in Botswana, where the team will be chasing a place at the World Relays in Gaborone set for May 2 and 3.
Zimbabwe currently occupies the 24th and final qualifying spot; they needed another solid showing to secure their place on the global stage.
