West Indies head coach Daren Sammy has labelled Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani an X-factor ahead of this afternoon’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Super Eight clash.
Sammy said his side has put plans in place to counter the towering seamer, but conceded that Muzarabani’s height, bounce and movement make him a significant threat.
The 2.03-metre paceman has been one of the revelations of the tournament, claiming nine wickets in the group stage, including a match-winning four for 17 against Australia.
Zimbabwe, the surprise package of the competition, topped a challenging group featuring Sri Lanka and Australia. They now begin their Super Eight campaign against the West Indies at Wankhede Stadium.
