Mukupe and Geza replaced in ZANU PF Central Committee restructuring

THE ZANU PF Mashonaland West provincial leadership has replaced two Central Committee representatives, Blessed Geza and Cde Terrence Mukupe, following their departure from the party structures under different circumstances.

Geza was expelled for flouting the party’s constitution, while Cde Mukupe is currently serving a three-year jail term for fuel smuggling.

ZANU PF Mashonaland West provincial chairperson, Cde Mary Mliswa-Chikoka, confirmed the appointments aimed at restoring full representation in the party’s Central Committee.

In the Hurungwe political administrative district, Cde Joseph Serima, a respected war veteran, was elected unopposed to replace Cde Mukupe.

Meanwhile, Honourable Polite Kambamura, the legislator for Sanyati Constituency, has been chosen to take over from Blessed Geza, who previously represented the Kadoma political district.

The provincial leadership has also indicated that preparations are underway to conduct an election to replace Cde Kindness Paradza, who recently vacated his Central Committee seat for Makonde District following his appointment as a Commissioner with the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).

The reconfigurations come as the party continues internal alignments aimed at strengthening its leadership structures across all levels, particularly ahead of upcoming national policy programmes and grassroots mobilisation efforts.
