THE Zimbabwe national football team will be on double duty this Tuesday, fielding two squads for regional and international engagements.
At 3 PM, a developmental Warriors side will take to the pitch at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein, South Africa, for a decisive COSAFA Cup Group A encounter against Mozambique.
After collecting only one point from their opening two matches, Zimbabwe must secure a win to keep their slim hopes of reaching the semi-finals alive.
Later in the day, at 6PM, the senior Warriors team will square off against Niger in an international friendly in Morocco.
This fixture is part of Zimbabwe’s ongoing Morocco tour, which also featured a match against Burkina Faso last week.
The dual fixtures highlight Zimbabwe’s strategy of broadening its talent base while maintaining competitive international exposure for the senior team.
