THREE people were killed while three others were seriously injured by a lightning bolt that struck Vanguard Mine in Mberengwa Wednesday night.
Mberengwa District Development Coordinator Mr Vafios Hlabati confirmed the incident, saying it occurred at Vanguard Mine Shopping Centre, where the victims had sought shelter in a shop.
Mr Hlabati urged people to take precautionary measures to avoid being struck by lightning.
