THE Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) Golf Day lived up to expectations with professional golfers and corporates turning up in their numbers at Royal Harare Golf course this Friday.
The second edition of the Golf Day saw Royal Harare coming to life as business converged for a round of golf.
The corporation is happy to be playing it’s part in national development.
“We are happy with the way the day went. It is more than what we anticipated. It makes us happy as we canverged with our patners to share ideas and remember, the proceeds go to charity so in a way, we are also doing our corporate social responsibility,” said ZBC’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tapiwa Mudzamba.
The business community was happy to partner ZBC.
“We are happy to be here, we market our products through their platforms and we came out here to tell the world of our new product where we are building a PGA tour level golf course that we think will contribute to the development of sport in Zimbabwe,” said a partner.
Another added, “We are happy to be part of a gold event. Apart from business, it also encourages physical fitness and wellbeing.”
Some of the proceeds of the Golf Day will be donated to charity.
