Chief Kandana of Bulilima district has died.
He was 72.
The traditional leader succumbed to a short illness at Plumtree Hospital Saturday evening.
Bulilima District Development Coordinator, Mr Onismor Zogara confirmed the death of Chief Kandana.
Born Michael Magutshwa, Chief Kandana was installed as chief in 2007, taking over from his father Jackpot Magutshwa who was by then a headman.
He is survived by his wife Simeleni Dube, two children and three grandchildren.
