Former CAF president dies

Former Confederation of African Football president Issa Hayatou has died.

He was 78.

The Cameroonian who led the continental body from 1988 to 2017, passed on this Wednesday in France where he was seeking treatment.

Meanwhile CAF has declared five days of mourning and has requested Member Associations fly the CAF flag at half-mast until the 13th of August.
